STARS Classroom is a tool that enables teachers to enter report card grades from any internet-ready device. Teachers of students in grades 6-12 may use STARS Classroom in lieu of the electronic grade gathering (EGG) method used by middle and high schools.

Exam Scheduling and Regent Codes

More information on the exam scheduling process can be found under Grade Reporting.Once the exam codes are added to the school code deck, schools are instructed to schedule students for the appropriate exam following the procedure currently used for scheduling for the exams; LOAD exam, Schedule Mass Changes and individual program changes using the Walk-In Scheduler or Schedule Add/Drop can be used.

High School Exam Codes

Starting January 2012, the Regents and RCT exam codes for High School students are as follows. See below for the exam codes that all middle school (8th grade or lower) students should use.

Starting June 20__, all LOTE exams will be scanned in the school administering the exam, similar to the current procedures for Regents exams.
How should students be scheduled for the LOTE exams?
All students taking the LOTE exams should be scheduled for the LOTE exams in STARS using the above exam codes.
To schedule a students for an exam taken at a hub site (see question 14), use sections 80-92 (see table below) to indicate the hub site, regardless of the language. DoNOT use these sections for any other reason.
